Getting To Port Campbell

V-Line runs trains from Melbourne into South West Victoria. The Warrnambool Line runs between Southern Cross Station (in Melbourne) and Warrnambool. Port Campbell Touring Company will pick up guests from either Camperdown Station or Warrnambool Station.

By Coach

V-Line buses from Geelong and Warrnambool pick up and drop off at Port Campbell on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and travel via Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road.

By Car

If you are driving to Port Campbell from Melbourne, the fastest route is to take the A1 Highway through Geelong and Colac.

You can estimate your travel time and driving route by using Google Maps.

For guests undertaking the Great Ocean Walk and staying at Portside Motel, secure parking is available and Port Campbell Touring Company will transport guests to the start of their walk.



By Air

Private air service operators fly from Melbourne to Port Campbell, and can be arranged to include a tour with Port Campbell Touring Company upon arrival.

Helicopter flights directly to the 12 Apostles can be arranged through services such as Heli-serv or Microflite, whilst Air Adventures fly small aircraft from Melbourne to the 12 Apostles in only 25 minutes.



Some day tour operators from Melbourne, for example, Bunyip Tours and AAT Kings, allow guests to “jump on and jump off” at Port Campbell.
