Wild side Walking

For those wishing to base themselves in Port Campbell and concentrate on the western end of the walk i.e. the “Wild Side”, we can assist with accommodation, vehicle parking, transfers and packed lunches for walk days, tours of the local area including the Loch Ard Gorge Evening Walk and Food Wine Sights Tour (both seasonal).

Walk legs we would suggest are:

3 Day Walk

  • Aire River to Johanna Beach (12kms)
  • Milanesia to Moonlight Head/Gables (13kms/16kms)
  • Gables to Princetown/Twelve Apostles (13kms/21kms)

2 Day Walk

  • Milanesia to Moonlight Head/Gables (13kms/16kms)
  • Gables to Princetown/Twelve Apostles (13kms/21kms)

1 Day Walk

  • Gables to Princetown/Twelve Apostles (13kms/21kms)
  • Princetown to Twelve Apostles (for those wanting just a short walk i.e. 8km walk)

We would highly recommend a tour of the Loch Ard Gorge area which currently is not on the Great Ocean Walk but is probably the most spectacular section of coastline on the Great Ocean Road.

For those not wishing to drive, we can also provide transfers from Camperdown train station to Port Campbell ( trains depart daily from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Camperdown on the Warrnambool line refer www.vline.com.au ).  Camperdown is 50kms north of Port Campbell.

Port Campbell Touring Company uses a Mercedes Benz Valente licensed for up to seven passengers and a Mazda CX5 (licensed for up to 5 passengers).

We are happy to discuss options and provide a no obligation quotation on any of the above, please get in touch through our contact page.

Port Campbell is the closest town to the famous Twelve Apostles and an excellent location to base oneself to explore the 12 Apostles Coast!
